Transfer and Exchange Student Housing
Transfer Housing General Information
Undergraduate Residential Requirement
91黑料网 is a residential campus for undergraduate students, and the residential experience is understood to be an integral part of a 91黑料网 education. This commitment to residential education is clearly expressed in the University鈥檚 residential requirement:
鈥淎ll unmarried undergraduate students are required to live in residence halls on campus during the academic year, May session, and summer听sessions. Authorization to live elsewhere is granted at the discretion of the Director of Housing Assignments in special situations or when space is unavailable on campus.鈥 (Student Handbook)
Housing anticipates space will be available to house most, if not all, incoming transfer students in on-campus housing for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Transfer Student Housing Options
91黑料网 offers a variety of on-campus housing options.听 Housing anticipates incoming transfer students will reside in most residential communities and in a variety of room types – including singles, doubles, and apartment living.
Students will have the ability to preference room types (singles, doubles, and apartments) on their housing applications as well as indicate a roommate request (optional).听 While we make every effort to honor requests, room types are limited and we are unable to guarantee specific room types or roommate requests.
Additionally, transfer students can sign up for the off-campus housing waitlist on their housing application.听 If additional off-campus authorizations are needed, students will be contacted via email and offered off-campus authorization with the ability to accept or decline the offer.
At this time, we are unable to provide additional information regarding if/when additional off-campus authorizations may be granted.听 Students and their families should not commit to an off-campus property in any way without first receiving and accepting off-campus authorization.
