Undergraduate Residential Requirement<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 91黑料网 is a residential campus for undergraduate students, and the residential experience is understood to be an integral part of a 91黑料网 education. This commitment to residential education is clearly expressed in the University\u2019s residential requirement:<\/p>\n \u201cAll unmarried undergraduate students are required to live in residence halls on campus during the academic year, May session, and summer\u00a0sessions. Authorization to live elsewhere is granted at the discretion of the Director of Housing Assignments in special situations or when space is unavailable on campus.\u201d (Student Handbook<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n Housing anticipates space will be available to house most, if not all, incoming transfer students in on-campus housing for the 2026-2027 academic year.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Transfer Student Housing Options<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 91黑料网 offers a variety of on-campus housing options.\u00a0 Housing anticipates incoming transfer students will reside in most residential communities and in a variety of room types – including singles, doubles, and apartment living.<\/p>\n Students will have the ability to preference room types (singles, doubles, and apartments) on their housing applications as well as indicate a roommate request (optional).\u00a0 While we make every effort to honor requests, room types are limited and we are unable to guarantee specific room types or roommate requests.<\/p>\n Additionally, transfer students can sign up for the off-campus housing waitlist on their housing application.\u00a0 If additional off-campus authorizations are needed, students will be contacted via email and offered off-campus authorization with the ability to accept or decline the offer.<\/p>\n At this time, we are unable to provide additional information regarding if\/when additional off-campus authorizations may be granted.\u00a0 Students and their families should not commit to an off-campus property in any way without first receiving and accepting off-campus authorization.<\/strong><\/p>\n Transfer Student Housing Assignment Release<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Transfer student on-campus housing assignments will be released via email on or around Monday, August 10<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Your assignment email will contain the following information:<\/p>\n All incoming transfer students are required to submit a housing application via the Housing Portal.\u00a0 <\/strong>Applications are due 10 days after your matriculation deposit deadline.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n IMPORTANT:\u00a0 Prior to accessing the Housing Portal, you must complete the following:<\/p>\n Once completing these steps, please allow up to five (5) business days before attempting to log into the Housing Portal.\u00a0 If you are unable to access the Housing Portal after five (5) business days, please contact Housing.<\/a><\/p>\n Steps for Completing Your Application<\/strong><\/p>\n As noted in the Housing Contract, the University is not liable for damage to property or injuries arising out of a resident\u2019s occupancy of their assigned rooms, except if such damage or injury results from negligent acts or omissions by the University.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As a resident, you are liable to the University and others for loss or damage caused by your actions or those of your guests. You are required to maintain adequate property and liability insurance that includes the following:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n These insurance requirements are minimum requirements only. The university does not warrant or represent that this coverage will be adequate or sufficient to protect you or your guests from liability. We recommend that you discuss your specific insurance needs with an authorized insurance agent. Required insurance may be provided by a standalone Renter\u2019s Insurance Policy or by endorsement or extension from a Homeowners Insurance Policy maintained by you or by a Parent\/Guardian\/Family Member.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Fully compliant renters’ insurance may be obtained from:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n
