Categories of sponsored research handled by SPA:

  • ▪︎

According to Appendix III to Part 200 A.1.a.(1), funding is obtained from external organizations like government agencies, private companies, and non-profits. • ‣E.g., externally fundedÌýgrants, cooperative agreements & contracts

  • ▪︎

    • ‣E.g., travel grants, community outreach grants, support for conference, seminars or workshops, grants for infrastructure updates

SPA does not handle funding directly to PIs, internal 91ºÚÁÏÍø grants (i.e., Discovery, Catalyst Awards), and gifts given directly to 91ºÚÁÏÍø.Ìý Please work with your department administration.
